Junior Process Engineer
Job Description:
Sonovia is looking for a highly motivated Junior Process Engineer with hands-on skills to join our dynamic R&D core team. As a Junior Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the technology processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with limited experience looking to kickstart their career in process engineering.

- Become part of the R&D core team, develop new processes and technologies, ensuring feasibility, efficiency, and scalability.
- Design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and interpret results to improve existing processes and develop innovative solutions.
- Perform process simulations and modeling to optimize parameters and predict performance outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of experimental protocols, observations, and data analysis to ensure data integrity and reproducibility.
- Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to team members.
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and suppliers to explore and evaluate new materials, technologies, and equipment for R&D purposes.
- Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines.
- Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable mindset in tackling challenges, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering/ Physics, Or Practical Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering (only with previous expertise) – Must.
- Proficiency in using Excel and MATLAB/ Python – Must
- Hands-on abilities- Must
- Proficiency in using statistical software packages such as JMP, and data analysis tools – Advantage.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary companies – Advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining rigorous standards.
- Demonstrated autodidact abilities and high-level analytical & problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for business trips when required.
- Organized & able to work cooperatively in a team environment, and work under demanding timelines.
- Fluent in English and Hebrew. Additional languages – an advantage.
