Senior Mechanical Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will play a vital role in the technology team, responsible for the development, optimization, verification and validation of advanced mechanical systems and technologies. - Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex mechanical systems, components, and mechatronic systems, ensuring adherence to project goals, specifications, and timelines.
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis, simulations, and calculations to optimize mechanical designs, validate performance, and ensure reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and implementation of mechanical systems.
- Evaluate and select materials, components, and manufacturing processes based on performance, cost, and quality considerations.
- Conduct testing, validation, and verification of mechanical systems, analyzing results, troubleshooting issues, and implementing necessary design modifications.
- Prepare and present comprehensive technical design reviews, documentation, and presentations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering, system engineering and related fields, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach, actively participating in prototyping, assembly, and testing activities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering -Must
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex products commercially, including thermodynamic and fluid systems- Must
- System engineering experience – Must
- Hands-on abilities- Must
- Proficiency in using Solid-works based design- Must
- Experience in multi-disciplinary companies – Advantage
- Prior experience working in a startup environment, showcasing adaptability, initiative, and an entrepreneurial mindset- Advantage
- Experience in mechanical and control systems assembly and integration
- High ability to prepare detailed and accurate drawings, including dimensioning, tolerancing, and manufacturing specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Willingness to travel internationally for business trips as required to support project implementation and collaboration with partners or clients
