Job Description:
Sonovia is looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization into the next phase of growth and success. As the CEO of Sonovia, you will be the driving force behind the company’s strategic direction, growth, and overall success. You will be responsible for establishing and executing the company’s vision, mission, and long-term objectives. The CEO will work closely with the executive team and the Board of Directors, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture while ensuring operational efficiency and financial stability.

Sonovia is a textile-tech company developing the next generation of high-performing and sustainable ultrasonic textile dyeing and finishing. By providing an innovative and comprehensive solution, Sonovia aims to reshape the textile industry. The company is now coming to the end of its R&D phase, and entering the Sale and Installation phase. Sonovia is a tech company publicly traded at TASE (SONO)
- Lead the strategic development and execution of the product, ensuring it meets market needs and aligns with the company’s vision.
- Formulate strategies and action plans to achieve growth, profitability, and market leadership.
- Raise funds to fuel the company budget and scale-up
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships to accelerate product adoption and market reach.
- Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
- Control the product development process, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential partnerships to expand the company’s reach and influence.
- Cultivate positive relationships with investors, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Represent the company in public events, conferences, and media interactions.
- Implement best practices and efficient processes across all company functions.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for employees.
- Promote a positive work environment that values collaboration and employee well-being.
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Denim/textile top managerial positions or a background in 3D printing or sustainability management positions – is a must.
- Proven experience as CEO or in other senior managerial positions, in startup or publicly traded companies from versatile segments.
- Highly skilled at managing complex processes, leading change and energizing organizations
- Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
- Experience in raising capital (Public and Private equity)
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving financial targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Visionary mindset with the ability to think strategically and make well-informed decisions.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate challenges effectively.
- Strong business acumen and negotiation abilities.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
